Awareness and Consultation workshop-Feb 2013

The first Awareness and Consultation workshop for 2013 for South Asia senior agricultural officials was held on 4-5 February. A total of 11 officials from India, Bangladesh, and Nepal joined the event. They were accompanied by STRASA South Asia regional coordinator, Uma Shankar Singh.

The 2nd annual planning and evaluation workshop of STRASA Phase 1 for Bangladesh was held on 21-22 April 2009 at the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute in Gazipur, Bangladesh. A tour of the field experiments planted with several stress-tolerant rice varieties at BRRI was also conducted.
